We were delighted to have worked on this beautiful Catania Limestone floor today for Mr and Mrs Francis.
This floor had NEVER been sealed from the day it was laid (15 years ago!). So it was in pretty bad shape.
Firstly of all, we had to tackle over a decade’s worth of dirt and grease build up in the grout lines.
After a thorough rinse of the floor, using a low grit pad, we started to hone the surface of the tiles. This also removes any scuff marks, etching etc.
We then continued with our diamond pads as needed to add a subtle shine to the floor.
After that, we rinsed the floor once again ready for the sealer to be applied the next morning.
And there you go, a 15-year-old dull looking floor restored to a like “new” condition.
